God and the BIG BANG

I was not surprised with his conclusion, and not surprised that scientists and others still refuse to admit to the source of our existence. Some even say the bible is a book of fairy tales and myths.  So it is pleasing to me to see science continues to unwittingly and even unwillingly prove the source of our creation.  For example see sources listed below for some evidences.

Many people, scientists in particular, agree with Jorge Juarez that nothing material existed before the universe.  This group of people says there was an energy that existed before the universe.  They say the energy that existed was a ‘type energy’ that requires no space, nor time ,nor matter to exist.  This should not surprise a Christian.  God does not require space, time, nor matter, to exist.  He just was and is!

I said to myself, after reading this short article, “Of course, they could be right on, in what they say, only they don’t identify the energy source as I would.”  God is the energy source they unknowing, or unwittingly write about.  Perhaps some of them would not want to associate their conclusion with God almighty.

Big Bang?

I believe that as God created the universe there could have been a “Big Bang” or two, which of course there was no person to witness.  Could the Big Bang have been before He created the earth?  The big bang theory comes from scientists and others trying to explain the creation of the universe without admitting God was and is today, that energy source.

I say God existed before the universe?  Please understand that what follows is just one man’s thinking.  No scientific discoveries or proof thereof; but they are some serious considerations that would never disprove God’s existence.

Could it be….?

1. Is it possible God created the Universe and Heaven and Earth in stages?
2. God had a reason for creating Heaven on the second day as described in Genesis? Do you wonder?
3. In Gen 1, the first verse begins "In the beginning..."  Who is to say "in the beginning" was the first act of God's creation of Heaven and Earth? Could it be said that God was creating Earth and Heaven "In the beginning" and that He had already created the Universe?
4. During God's creation of the Earth it would have reached a point in creation where the earth would receive light from the Sun which is typically a part of the Universe.  OR, was the Sun created and placed in the Universe at the instant he said "Let there be light?"
5. While communicating with Dr. Paul Collins about the story in Genesis of our creation, his response to me was, “As to the six days of creation, they could be emblematic of much longer periods of time…or they could be a literal six days according to some long-lost calendar. We don’t know.  What we do know is that “Something cannot come from nothing.”  And from “Something” to come, there is the necessity of a “SomeONE.”
6. God Created Heaven and Earth in 7 days as described in Genesis:  Science says 13.8 billion years ago our universe was created and 4.6 billion years ago the earth was created. Could God have created the Universe 13.8 billion years ago, as science says, prior to Earth and the Heavens, THEN THE EARTH 4.6 billion years ago?  I found no indication of science having guessed at the number of days it took for that ‘type of energy’ to create the earth.

Again, I realize this may appear nitpicky and to some faithless.  I assure you truth is NOT FAITHLESS.  Instead, it is a faith builder.  Dr. Paul Collins reminds us, “The truth never diminishes our faith and belief structures; it fortifies and strengthens.”

And as you and I know the naysayers are good at nitpicking and inventing things to disprove God.  Sorry to say, but some naysayers and some scientists will likely invent ways to disprove God no matter what we Christians find.
